General delivery information
Delivery is usually the day after we despatch your parcel and only between Monday-Friday between 8am-5pm. If you are not at home, city-link will leave a card for you to contact them to arrange a mutually convenient time for them to re-deliver. If you do not contact them, they will automatically try to deliver the next day.
We cannot be held financially liable for late delivery, however arising.
It is generally a requirement for a signature upon delivery, unless you have requested otherwise. However, any loss or damage to goods left without a signature will be your responsibility. Asking us to have your parcel redirected once we have despatched it is possible, but there will be a redirection fee, which is expensive. This fee has to be paid by the customer to us, before city-link will action your re-direction request by us.
It is possible to have your goods delivered to a business address, or an alternative address where there will be somebody to sign for it. There is an option on our website during the order process, whereby you may submit an alternative delivery address.
If you live in a block of flats, our courier will attempt to deliver your goods. If nobody is in to sign for your delivery, they will leave a card for you to contact them. Because flats are multiple occupied dwellings, your card may be picked up by another tennant, so please understand that once city-link have tried to deliver twice, they will not deliver a third time. Hopefully, you have helpful neighbours.
We regret having to be so dictatorial, but we feel it is best to clarify all terms and conditions of sale and delivery.
